Iconic aesthetics meet

next-level performance

Since 2009, Pininfarina’s automotive design mastery and Anest Iwata’s precision engineering have created spray guns that perform as beautifully as they look. A shared philosophy where Italian aesthetics meet Japanese perfection, transforming the tools that bring automotive dreams to life.

Now, celebrating Pininfarina’s 95th anniversary, this collaboration culminates in the first time ever limited edition. Professional performance interpreted as a collectible design.

For painters, it’s the ultimate instrument. For collectors, it’s the convergence of two legendary names. For both, it’s proof that when vision meets precision, industries change forever.

    The Art of Atomization Begins

Brothers Hatsutaro and Sukezo Iwata rented a corner of a factory in the town of Toyosawa, Shibuya Ward, on May 1, 1926, and started a small manufacturing operation called Iwata Seisakusho, the forerunner of our company, with just two used lathes.

First Spray Gun made in Japan

The spray gun development journey of the Iwata brothers started with a request from Mizushima Shokai. After numerous attempts, a few of their spray guns finally passed all tests.
Their spray gun, the first ever created in Japan, had a big head and a rugged grip, but it was capable of producing both flat and round spray patterns and atomized paint surprisingly well.

Design Features

Every curve speaks fluent Pininfarina

The same design language that shaped legendary cars now shapes the tool that perfects them. Nicola Girotti personally crafted this anniversary Limited Edition, where a sophisticated dark blue meets striking red accents in a composition that honors 95 years of design mastery.

The laser-etched ‘pininfarina95’ script isn’t just an engraving – it’s a signature on each gun expressing authenticity and transforming a professional tool into a limited work of functional art. The ergonomic body flows seamlessly from grip to trigger, embodying Pininfarina’s philosophy that beauty and performance are inseparable.

Where Italian aesthetics meet Japanese precision, every detail serves both form and function.

Technical Features

Atomization Perfected

While others chase the unique Anest Iwata atomization, our engineers brought it to perfection – consistent droplet size at every point across the spray pattern. The Split Nozzle™ 2.0 doesn’t just spray paint; it orchestrates millions of perfectly sized particles in a way that virtually eliminates orange peel and ensures perfect coverage.

This is why the world’s most demanding painters trust no other tool when perfection is the only acceptable outcome. The difference isn’t visible in specifications – it’s visible in mirror-like finishes.
