Anest Iwata Becomes Exclusive European Partner of Asahi Sunac
Cardano al Campo, Italy – April 2026
Anest Iwata and Asahi Sunac: New Strategic Partnership for the European Market
Anest Iwata has officially become the exclusive European importer and distribution partner for Asahi Sunac products. This collaboration brings together two established Japanese technology leaders in the coating industry, expanding Anest Iwata's portfolio with advanced electrostatic application technology.
Through this agreement, European customers and distributors can now access the full spectrum of modern coating technology from a single source—ranging from conventional and HVLP spray systems to highly efficient electrostatic solutions.
Key Benefits for Users and Distributors
• A single point of contact: Consultation, training, sales, and technical service for the entire application range are managed directly by Anest Iwata.
• Higher efficiency and sustainability: Electrostatic application delivers significantly higher transfer efficiency than purely pneumatic atomization. This results in less overspray, lower material consumption, reduced disposal costs, and a smaller environmental footprint.
• Secured service network: Technical support and spare parts supply are secured from day one through the Anest Iwata Strategic Center in Cardano al Campo (Italy) and its established European distribution channels.
• New business opportunities: Trade partners gain access to an attractive new product segment, allowing them to offer solutions for applications previously outside their range.
Launch Products at a Glance
The partnership debuts in Europe with the introduction of the following established products
from the Asahi Sunac range:
• HB6000 Electrostatic Hand Gun: Developed specifically for water-based paints. It features dielectric electrodes for efficient charging even at low voltage, an integrated high-voltage potential indicator, and a lightweight design of approximately 520 g.
• HB5000 Electrostatic Hand Gun Series: Designed for industry-leading transfer rates and control. It comes in three variants for different paint types: HB5000S (solvent, solid, and clear coats), HB5000M (solvent, metallic paints), and HB5000W (water-based paints with an insulated paint path system). It has a mass of 540 g.
• Control Units: Two controllers dedicated to single-gun and multi-gun applications respectively.
A step-by-step expansion of the standard range is already planned to make further Asahi Sunac solutions available in the near future.
